MATCHDAY 4 RESULTS & REPORT

A Chris Wood 3rd minuet strike was enough to get us under way in one of the two fixtures on super Sunday.

The loan goal was enough to keep palace rooted on the log.
The eagles currently occupy 19th.



Swansea vs Newcastle clash was the last fixture in matchday four...The day began on a sad note as news came in that Rafa Benitez wont be making the trip to the Liberty Stadium as he recovers from illness.

 Newcastle were coming fresh from a 3-0 home victory, and the confidence was not lacking...A lone goal from Lascelles was enough for Rafa's men... and thus sending Swansea back to the drawing board.

SATURDAY REVIEW

It was goals all over in the Matchday 4 in the English Premier League...

-The weekend got off in style as Liverpool traveled to city.

Both teams were coming back from victories from Matchday three...

It was a show piece at the Etihad stadium, as the citizens saw of ten man Liverpool off in a 5-0 thumping...same story for Oxlade as he has conceaded 9 goals in two games.

Gabriel Jesus and Sane grabbed a brace, while Aguero was also on the score sheet.
-
-Arsenal saw brushed aside Bournmouth 3-0... goals were secured by Welback who grabbed a brace with new man Lacazette on the score sheet as well.

This result has pushed arsenal to 9th on the log.

-new premier league intake Brighton saw off West Brom 3-1 to climb 13th on the log.

-Facing Spurs away from Wembley is sure to be a hard one, as Everton were on the recieving side of   it...Everton lost at home 0-3 to rampant Spurs.



-The English champions have quickly climbed the Premier League table after opening day defeat to Burnley.
they have wrapped up three wins in a row to land third on the log...they beat Liecester City 1-2.




- A sight to behold for all Watford fans as they occupy Champions League spot in fourth, they beat Southampton 0-2 to climb 4th on the log.

Mourinho's 100% start comes to an end as they were held to a 2-2 draw at stoke.

 Monday night football will see West Ham take on Huddersfield town.
