Rampant France Sweeps Out Argentina In Thriller


As expect the round of sixteen is here, and the World Cup has lived up to expectation.

 The first games on the round see France take on Argentina who narrowly escaped from group D. 

France were group winners and are very much likely favorites to go on and win the trophy.

 The game busted into life as he was a handful for the Argentina defense, And his pressure paid off as he was brought down in the box.
Griezmann waits for Armani to dive to his left. When he does, he rolls the ball down the middle with his left foot. Cool as you like. What a start for France! How about Mbappe, though!

 The game was going towards half time with France in control, then from nowhere with a bullet hit Di Maria draws level.
1-1 at halftime. The second half was a different game...an extraordinary match, as the floodgates of goals opened up.

 Argentina took and early second half lead, but was quickly cancelled out by Pavard with a wonder strike.

 Mbappe quickly stirred France ahead in the 63rd minute and quickly added another one to put France 4-2 up.

 The game wasn't finished as Aguero notched a goal back for Argentina in the second minute of added time. But that was not enough as France progress 4-3.

 France now awaiting their next opponents in the last 8.
