CHELSEA AGREE FEE FOR CHAMBERELAIN

Chelsea agree Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fee of £40million.

According the Sun...The Ox, 24, now has to discuss personal terms with Antonio Conte’s Blues.

And the Italian boss must persuade him that joining his Premier League champions is the right move for him.

But their offer of £35m now and £5m in add-ons has given them the edge over their Scouse rivals ahead of Thursday’s 11pm transfer deadline.

Jack de Menezes via Independent reports that Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, who commentated for Sky Sports during the Anfield demolition, claimed that the entire squad should be put up for sale for such an appalling performance.

Standard sports reported earlier that Antonio Conte’s side are confident that a £35million fee will be enough to convince Arsenal to part with Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose contract expires at the end of this season.
