MANCHESTER CITY OFFER STERLING + CASH FOR SANCHEZ
Manchester City have made an incredible player-plus-cash offer for Alexis Sanchez.
They have offered to put Raheem Sterling into the deal to try and sign Sanchez before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
But Mirror Sport understands there has now been direct contact between the clubs - and City have made the shock offer involving Sterling.
JAMES OLLEY for Evening Standard reports that Manager Arsene Wenger has repeatedly ruled out a sale this month despite the 28-year-old entering the final year of his contract and continuing to reject an extension worth £300,000 a week including image rights.
The Independent says that Arsenal tell Manchester City they want Sergio Aguero in any deal for Alexis Sanchez.
