MANCHESTER UNITED SMASH SWANSEA TO GO 3 CLEAR



Manchester United were hosted by Swansea city side at the liberty stadium.

United were back from a 4-0 demolition on west ham on the opening day of the new English Barclays premier league and confidence were flying high among the United side.

The game began in fine fashion as the visitors soon found themselves on a counter attack, but Lukaku effort soon went wide.

The visitors would have taken the lead on the 10th minute by a Phil Jones header, but the cross bar came to the rescue for Swansea.

 But Mourinho's side soon made their mark towards the end of the first half as Paul Pogba's header was not properly dealt with by the Swansea goalie and Eric Bailly pounced home to give you the visitors the lead. The first half ended 0-1.

 The second half began with United going about their normal business, Swansea did try to crawl back though. Fer's 58th minute strike dint cause any damage as it flew wide of range.

 Swansea were the first to look at other options as they made a double change which saw Mesa and Bartley come on for Rutledge and Narsingh in the 67th minute.

 Fer soon got on the refree record books as he made a late challenge on blind who shot wide. United soon followed with a double substitution, Fellani and Martial comming in for Rashford and Mata.

After the change....came change as Lukaku smashed in the second for United.



                          Pogba soon followed his footsteps to grab the third in quick succession.


Anthony Martial soon joined the party to make it four. United clearly stating their intents for the new season.
